Little Shopper, a Curated content-driven E-Commerce marketplace specialising in baby, kids and maternity products in India is looking to fill out the vacancies for senior Android Developer. The location will be Chennai and the ideal candidates should have an experience of around 3 to 5 years.
Then candidate should have expert Level Knowledge and experience in the Full lifecycle of an android (java) Native application design and development.
Criteria:
Over 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Android (Java) native app design and development experience.
Experience with the Android SDK, java, NDK, C++
Hands on experience in the full life-cycle of Android application development
Push Notifications & Toast
Experience working with product management and UI/UX designers
Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
Eclipse & ANT based build system
Experience in Payment gateway integration in mobile apps
A portfolio of Android apps in the Play Store
Locations and Map API's
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Developer tools: Maven, Gradle, Git, Android Studio/Eclipse JSON/XML Web services Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration Test Driven Development (TDD), Jenkins, Network layer like Volley, Retrofit
Experience with JSON, developing and optimising apps for REST based services.
An understanding of mobile security best practices
Strong mobile UI design and implementation experience, including prototyping
Experience with multi-threading, memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices.
